Bill Shulby is an Executive Coach for Neal and Associates Business Consultants working in the areas of growth strategy and planning, sales effectiveness, and sales training and coaching, Bill has been helping companies grow and scale for over 30 years. Bill uses his experience in both B2B and B2C sales and marketing to drive growth by developing comprehensive go-to-market plans, differentiated value propositions and unique positioning strategies that are easy for sales professionals to understand, embrace and communicate to prospects and customers. Bill was also a corporate executive and internal consultant at Cigna focusing on driving growth in the company’s various US and international P&Ls. His work to improve sales effectiveness and align sales, product management, and marketing efforts resulted in increased contract renewal rates and increased new business acquisition rates in each of the businesses in which he worked. Bill also built successful Sales/Marketing/CRM consulting practices at Ernst & Young, Peppers and Rogers Group, and Accenture by designing and executing growth plans and roadmaps for companies such as Rockwell Automation, HP, Anthem BCBS, American Express, USAA, and Mercedes Benz. He also serves as an interim Chief Revenue Officer for early stage SaaS healthcare technology companies to support their efforts to secure ‘A’ and ‘B’ round funding. Bill has served as General Manager for two data services companies and as Professor of the Practice, Marketing in the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Bill has been a guest lecturer on various topics in sales and marketing at the University of Arizona, University of Texas –Austin, Northwestern University, Indiana University, Purdue University, and St. John’s University. He is also a frequent speaker at local, regional, national and global conferences and enjoys coaching youth basketball and baseball.
